HR/Admin Support Intern

Western Products is seeking a personable and highly organized HR intern to support the Human Resources Department in day-to-day administrative tasks and activities. This position will help you develop real-world Human Resources skills in a team-focused office environment.


  • Assist the Human Resources Department with a variety of HR-related projects and responsibilities
  • Collect and update our database with new hire information (e.g., employment forms and contact information)
  • Maintain payroll data, including leaves, working hours, and bank accounts
  • Proofread HR documents
  • Help prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents
  • Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects
  • Assist with employee onboarding


  • Currently enrolled in a North Dakota university and pursuing a Human Resources Management or Business Administration major
  • Some experience in an office environment preferred
  • Highest degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality; demonstrated discretion in the handling of highly sensitive material and information
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
