Get to Know John Ross
If you think our team is trained in a boardroom, think again. John Ross came to Western Products with 10 years of construction industry experience. In fact, he even owned his own roofing company and has valuable experience in carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and painting. Today, he’s not only a go-to for all of our divisions, but he also specializes in roofing, United States Seamless® steel siding, and Renewal by Andersen® replacement windows.
Ross has extensive construction experience, but you also might recognize him from the soccer field. He grew up in Chicago, IL., and moved to Fargo in 2003 where he spent nine years as the associate head coach of soccer at NDSU. Before coming to Fargo, Ross worked with the Chicago Fire Reserves of the Premier Development League, and he was the head men’s soccer coach at Triton Junior College in Illinois. Ross was also the head coach at Northern Illinois University for six years.
Over the years, John Ross earned an associate’s degree in Construction Engineering from Triton, a Bachelor of Arts at Northeastern University in Illinois, and also a Master of Science at NDSU. In 2020, he circled back to his construction roots and joined the team at Western Products.
