Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Cook Time 45 minutes
Course Vegetables and Side Dishes


  • 5-6 lbs Potatoes
  • 1/4 lb Butter
  • 8 oz Sour Cream
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • Cream or Milk If necessary


  • Cook potatoes in salt water.
  • Drain and mash.
  • Add butter, sour cream, cream cheese and cream or milk, if necessary.
  • Place in a buttered casserole bowl and refrigerate.
  • Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
