Safety Administrator/HR Generalist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with a background in safety and recruiting to join our team as Safety Administrator/HR Generalist. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting employees, fostering a strong safety culture, and making a meaningful impact within an organization that genuinely values its people.

In this role, you will support a variety of human resources and safety functions, working closely with the HR Director and field safety leadership. This role plays a key part in recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, conduct, and track safety training and events
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection
  • Partner with managers to onboard new employees and deliver orientation and safety training
  • Maintain and report environmental, OSHA, and health and safety information
  • Ensure accurate and compliant employee and applicant documentation
  • Manage employee benefits, including eligibility, enrollment, changes, and billing verification
  • Review and update safety manuals and policies on an ongoing basis
  • Support employee relations and HR initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Degree in human resources or related experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and time management with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
