Internal Operations Team Lead

Western Products is seeking an Internal Operations Team Lead to join our growing team! This is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the internal processes that ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role requires a detail-oriented and strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead a team to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and coordinate the job flow process from beginning to end.
  • Supervise the Scheduling Team and ensure the smooth flow of scheduling work and process enforcement.
  • Supervise the Salesman Commission Coordinator & Team by reviewing monthly commissions and hold meetings as required.
  • Track EPA lead training, set up training sessions, and renew company licenses.
  • Onboard new sales staff as it pertains to commission, draw agreements, etc.
  • Supervise the Job Setup Lead and Team.
  • Attend and participate in AR and service ticket meetings.
  • Act as the National and Large Project Team Lead by reviewing contracts, alerting job coordinators and HR to certified payroll jobs, submitting requested forms, and analyzing job costs.
  • Administer subcontractors by reviewing contracts and all necessary documents.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and setting up for craftsman annual training.
  • Review contractor’s license renewals.
  • Act as a member of the Insurance Committee, managing certificates of insurance and filing vehicle and jobsite claims.
  • Conduct new state setup for WP jobs, including company name registration, sales tax, contractor’s license, etc.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or operations management with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products with the ability to learn new programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in contract administration and job cost analytics.
