Accounting & Office Administration

Western Products and Affiliated Companies is seeking an accounting team member. This accounting and office administration position encompasses a variety of financial and office duties, including accounts payable, contract entry, and office supply management. To thrive in this role, you must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounts payable functions:
    • Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used
    • Use three-way match to ensure invoice, PO, and receiving reports match with inventory received
  • Create customer, cost estimates, and material requirements in ERP from sales contract
  • Index electronic files of all contract documentation
  • Analyze sales commission
  • Prepare and enter craftsman payroll
  • Manage office supply inventory and coordinate mail
  • Interact with other departments such as sales, operations, accounting, IT, and marketing

Requirements

  • Business Administration or Accounting degree
  • Ability to meet deadlines, stay focused, multitask, and prioritize tasks in order of importance in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company-specific software systems
  • Demonstrated initiative to investigate and solve problems
  • Reliable and timely
